On May 25, 2026, the City of Henderson invites the community to gather at Cornerstone Park for a powerful tribute of remembrance, service, and gratitude. This year’s Field of Honor® holds special significance as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and reflect on the 25th anniversary of September 11—two milestones that call us to honor the enduring spirit, unity, and sacrifice that define our nation.
Set against the peaceful backdrop of Railroad Lake, Henderson’s Field of Honor® will feature 450 U.S. flags displayed in a solemn and inspiring formation. Each flag stands as a living tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country—veterans, active-duty military, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedoms.
Every flag tells a story—of courage, dedication, and selflessness. These stories remind us, and teach future generations, that the liberties we enjoy are preserved through the extraordinary service of ordinary Americans who answered the call to serve.
The sweeping panorama of red, white, and blue is a deeply moving experience—one that words can scarcely capture, but one that leaves a lasting impression on all who walk among the rows.
The Field of Honor® display will be open to the public free of charge. Visitors are encouraged to walk the grounds, reflect, and pay their respects in this space of unity and remembrance.
Join us for this meaningful annual ceremony as we come together in honor, service, and gratitude. This is a tribute not to be missed.
