I hope everyone at Colonial Flag Foundation knows what an event like this means to a community. It is something everyone can come together, regardless of views, to honor the men and women who have made sacrifices for our country. Our Exchange Club is blessed to be a part of such a tribute. We cannot thank y’all enough.

We are so happy to report that our Healing Field® event was highly successful! The flags were absolutely breathtaking as they flew proudly at our local Hoopes park backdrop and was able to raise over $30,000.

Whenever I have had a question or needed extra flags, I just sent an e-mail and we had them right away. Colonial Flag Foundation sent our order express mail and the cost was minimal. Colonial Flag Foundation is wonderful to work with. Their spirit, mission, and dedication can’t be beat!

Colonial Flag Foundation events deliver a fundraising platform proven successful over almost two decades and in hundreds of communities. Amounts raised increase substantially as host groups expand their effort to follow programs developed to provide plans, strategies and tools, which lead to success.
Local host groups, already actively involved in their communities, determine the benefiting charities for their Healing Field® and Field of Honor® fundraising events. Money stays in local communities to benefit organizations, charities and people.
In addition to raising money to benefit the community, hosting groups increase visibility of their organizations and the causes they support. Volunteers contributing to flag display events form ties with host groups and their members, which leads to increased membership.
Foundation flag display events have a huge impact for members of the community on many levels. Fundraising flows to the individual level in helping people; however, our event hosts find that the formation of flags draws the community together in a positive experience. They report, “It would be worth it if we didn’t raise any money.”

This partnership has impacted our community in significant ways, bringing hundreds of volunteers, visitors, school kids, and senior citizens to our field, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with over 30 organizations and our neighboring Fort Hood military base. Our city, county, state, and even federal elected officials are proud and supportive of having this event in our community. The Colonial Flag Foundation has been invaluable in helping us to achieve our objective of providing a meaningful, week-long event that honors our veterans and first responders, inspires patriotism in and around Central Texas, educates children through field trip opportunities, and builds awareness of the sacrifice made by those who fulfill the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.” We are grateful to the Colonial Flag Foundation founders and staff who are there for us every step of the way.
Creating an awe-inspiring panorama, United States flags will fly in a solemn formation at Glacier High School during May of 2023. This stirring display of 1,000 flags will bring the community together in a patriotic tribute to honor our heroes. Each U.S. flag represents an individual and tells a story. Flags may be sponsored to honor heroes in our lives.
READ MOREVisitors to our first flag displays honoring 9/11 victims felt a sense of healing, and these flag displays received their name. Other events wanted to honor heroes living and dead, and the name Field of Honor® was born.
Healing Field® flag displays may honor those lost in war, terrorist attack, due to child abuse or in the line of duty. Where there is a need for hope and healing , a Healing Field® display is appropriate.
A firefighter saving someone from an inferno is a hero, but so is a teacher who befriends a lonely student. Field of Honor® flag displays focus on heroes identified by themes local committees select.
