Experience a breathtaking and deeply moving tribute at the inaugural Strasburg Memorial Day Field of Honor®, held May 11–26 at Strasburg Town Square. This year’s display carries special significance as our nation approaches the 250th anniversary of America’s founding, offering a moment to reflect on our shared history, the legacy of September 11th, and the enduring spirit of gratitude, pride, and humanity that define who we are.
Thousands of United States flags will stand in solemn formation, each one representing an individual life—a story of service, sacrifice, and love. Together, they form a powerful visual tribute to the courage and unity that have guided our country through its most defining moments, both at home and in our interactions around the world.
As we near America’s 250th anniversary, this Field of Honor® invites us to consider not only where we have been, but who we are becoming. It is a tribute to the values that bind us—resilience, compassion, service, and respect—and a reminder of the responsibility we share to carry these ideals forward.
The Stars and Stripes have long symbolized hope and strength. Through every challenge in our nation’s history, Americans have stood together, emerging stronger and more united. This display honors that legacy and calls us to continue building a future worthy of those who came before us.
Community members are invited to sponsor a flag in honor of someone special, creating a deeply personal connection to the display. Sponsorships and donations directly support this meaningful tribute and help ensure these stories are remembered.
Walking among the flags is an experience that words can hardly capture—humbling, emotional, and unforgettable. The exhibit is open to all and free of charge.
Join us. Reflect. Remember. Honor.
