The Exchange Club of Daniel Island will once again transform River Landing Drive into a stunning sea of red, white, and blue as members and volunteers place 1,000 American flags in tribute to our nation’s heroes. Now in its 11th year, the Field of Honor® stands as a powerful and moving display honoring veterans, active-duty military, first responders, teachers, cancer fighters, and many others who have made a meaningful impact in our lives.

In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, this year’s event will also feature the America 250 Display—a unique and educational exhibit showcasing all 26 official flags that have flown throughout our nation’s history. Each flag is paired with historical insights into its origin and significance, alongside a beautifully rendered copy of the Declaration of Independence, offering visitors a deeper connection to America’s founding ideals.

Every dedicated flag tells a personal story of service, sacrifice, courage, or compassion. Those who dedicate a flag can receive their flags following the event, creating a meaningful keepsake to honor their hero for years to come.

The America 250 Display will be open from May 18th through June 13th at Guggenheim Park, before moving to Island Park Drive next to the Field of Honor®, where it will remain on display from June 13th through July 5th.
