Creating an awe-inspiring panorama, the Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary Club presents its 2026 Field of Honor™. The event showcases 500 United States flag flying in solemn formation in Spring Canyon Park adjacent to Veteran’s Plaza over the Memorial Day weekend, May 22nd through May 25th. The Stars & Stripes remind us of who we are as a people. Americans overcome hardships together, becoming stronger. That is just who we are. The United States flag represents our solidarity in creating a brighter tomorrow and uniting us all.

This stirring display of 500 flags is designed to bring the community together in a patriotic tribute to our heroes. Each U.S. flag will have a medallion attached which represents a hero and tells a story. Medallions may be purchased to honor Active-Duty Military, Fallen Servicemen & Women, First Responders, Heroes in Our Lives, All Veterans, Hometown Heroes and Personal Heroes.

This moving display is a gift to the community from the Breakfast Rotary of Fort Collins and is made possible by donations, medallion purchases, event sponsorships, and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by purchasing a medallion, making a donation or becoming a Community Supporter. Proceeds from the event will be used to provide grants to non-profits in our community that support Veterans and First Responders, as well as other important local causes.

And in Honor of America 250 we are excited to display, immediately adjacent to this year’s Field of Honor™ the 26 versions of the American flag that have flown at different times during our Nation’s 250 year history. Each flag includes a description of when the flag was used and what the design of the flag symbolizes. The display is a unique opportunity for community education about our Nation’s history.
