As America marks its 250th Anniversary, Seguin proudly reflects the enduring spirit of Real America and Real Texas. This summer, the community will come together for a powerful and patriotic tribute as 250 United States flags stand tall on 7½-foot white flagstaffs across the grounds of Faith Lutheran Church, located at 1326 East Cedar Street.
This breathtaking display honors our military members, veterans, and fallen heroes—those whose courage, service, and sacrifice have shaped our nation’s history and secured its future. Commemorating America’s 250th Anniversary provides a meaningful and fitting moment to reflect on their legacy. Each flag represents a life of service and deepens the significance of our remembrance, especially as we honor Veterans Day and our nation’s enduring ideals.
The Field of Honor® is more than a display—it is a shared community experience that unites residents of Guadalupe County in gratitude and reflection. The sweeping panorama of red, white, and blue is difficult to put into words, but once witnessed, it leaves a lasting impression.
This event is a gift to the community, made possible through generous donations, sponsorships, and the dedication of committed volunteers. You are invited to participate by donating, dedicating a flag in honor of a hero, or becoming an event sponsor.
Join us as we remember, honor, and celebrate those who have served our nation. The Field of Honor® is free and open to the public from June 27 through July 5. Come be part of this unforgettable tribute during America’s historic 250th Anniversary.
