The Mansfield Kiwanis Club proudly presents the annual 9/11 Memorial Field of Honor®, returning September 5–12, 2026. This year’s display holds special meaning as our nation marks the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks—a solemn milestone that invites us to remember, reflect, and honor the lives forever changed on that day.
Featuring 180 United States flags, the Field of Honor® creates a powerful visual tribute to the victims of 9/11, the brave first responders who answered the call, and the military men and women who have defended our nation in the years since. Each flag represents a unique story of service, sacrifice, courage, and patriotism.
As we commemorate this 25th anniversary, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, honor the heroism displayed in the face of tragedy, and recognize the resilience and unity that emerged in its aftermath. The Field of Honor® serves as a place for reflection and gratitude, ensuring that the lessons and legacy of September 11 continue to inspire future generations.
Made possible through generous donations, sponsorships, and the dedication of many volunteers, this meaningful display offers the community an opportunity to participate by dedicating a flag, making a donation, or becoming an event sponsor. Flags may be dedicated in honor of active-duty military personnel, veterans, first responders, fallen servicemen and women, and all those whose service strengthens our nation and communities.
While America celebrates its 250th anniversary in 2026, the Field of Honor® remains first and foremost a tribute to the heroes and victims of 9/11 and to all who have served in the twenty-five years since that historic day. We warmly invite the community to visit the Field of Honor® in Mansfield, walk among the flags, and join us in paying tribute to those whose sacrifice and service continue to protect the freedoms we cherish.
Together, we remember. Together, we honor. Together, we ensure that the spirit of September 11—and the courage it inspired—will never be forgotten.
