Peloma Vista Park, 37720 Tierra Subida Ave., Palmdale, CA 93557
Paloma Vista Park provides a spectacular setting for an equally spectacular panorama created as 1,001 United States flags fly for Veterans Day in ordered rows atop 7½ foot white flagstaffs. Approaching the magnificent formation of the Stars & Stripes, cars traveling along Sierra Highway, Rayburn Road & Tierra Subida Avenue have equally amazing views of Palmdale City’s inaugural Healing Field® event.
Flags honor all those who by their dedicated service have become our heroes. Each flag represents an individual and tells a story. Flags may be sponsored to honor individuals serving in our military, veterans who have served and first responders. Veterans Day affords us the perfect occasion to honor those who have honored the flag by displaying a flag in their honor. Proceeds will benefit Antelope Valley’s Vets 4 Veterans in “providing dedicated support for our young warriors as they return and readjust to civilian life.”
The Palmdale Healing Field® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
This massive vista of red, white & blue is an experience hard to describe, but not to be forgotten. Please visit Palmdale’s Healing Field® display and walk among the posted flags. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
