Field of Flags

Healing Fields of HonorThe Exchange Club of Mesquite continues the tradition of posting One Thousand Flags Over Mesquite thus creating a beautiful panorama of our national colors to honor the men and women who have fought to defend the principles, which the Stars and Stripes symbolize.  Veterans and currently servicing military have given so much and continue sacrifice in the defense of our freedom even at the cost of their lives.

There is a story of service and sacrifice surrounding each posted flag to remind the mature and to teach the youth that our freedoms have been purchase by the toil and blood of others with many paying the cost with their very lives.  Family, friends and each of us share in the loss of men and women whose lives have been cut short on battlefields of an increasingly dangerous world.

The Mesquite Field of Honor is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
