Under new stewardship, Keach War Memorial on West Street will once again host a striking display of United States flags from June 14th through July 19th. This year’s installation celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the United States while also honoring the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

Each flag serves as a visible reminder of the values, sacrifices, and resilience that have shaped our nation. Dedicated flags include a personalized tag, each telling a unique story of service, sacrifice, and honor. Together, the display offers visitors a meaningful place to reflect, remember, and recognize both the enduring spirit of America and the lives forever impacted by 9/11, while also helping to educate younger generations about our nation’s history and the sacrifices made to preserve freedom. Community members can take part in this tribute by making a donation, dedicating a flag in honor of a personal hero, or becoming an event sponsor.
