A Los Angeles South Bay tradition continues with Lawndale’s 5^th Annual Field of Honor® display of 200 U.S. flags at the Civic Center.  This tribute honors Veterans, those currently serving in the Armed Forces and those who died defending our nation on battlefields far from home.  It is fitting to display flags in honor of those who through their service and sacrifice have honored the flag, and the formation of flags creates an inspiring vista of red, white & blue that will draw the community together.

Flags may be sponsored for $15, and the sponsors will retain the flags at the close of the event to be displayed in Lawndale and surrounding communities as mementos of this touching event.

The funds raised through the Field of Honor® flag display will benefit programs of the City of Lawndale.

The Lawndale Field of Honor® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers.  Please support the City of Lawndale by sponsoring flags, volunteering to help and especially by visiting this impressive display of our national flag.
