In the days surrounding Veterans Day this November, the City of Lawndale will again host an impressive Field of Honor® display of United States flags for the South Bay Area. This inspirational posting of the Stars and Stripes will feature one hundred flags standing in a solemn formation. Flags may be sponsored for $25, and the sponsors will retain the flags at the close of the event to be displayed in Lawndale and surrounding communities as mementos of this memorable event. All flags can be picked up beginning Tuesday, November 14th through Thursday, November 30th at the Municipal Services Department, 14616 Grevillea Avenue, Lawndale.  Shipping is not available.

Field of FlagsHealing Fields of HonorIn the days surrounding Veterans Day this November, the City of Lawndale will again host an impressive Field of Honor® display of United States flags for the South Bay Area. This inspirational posting of the Stars and Stripes will feature one hundred flags standing in a solemn formation. Flags may be sponsored for $25, and the sponsors will retain the flags at the close of the event to be displayed in Lawndale and surrounding communities as mementos of this memorable event.

The funds raised through the Field of Honor® flag display will benefit programs of the City of Lawndale.

The panorama of red, white and blue is hard to adequately describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten. There will be no charge to visit the Lawndale Field of Honor® display, and all are invited to walk with us through the ordered rows of flags. This is an event not to be missed.
