Event Details
Beginning the week before Memorial Day and continuing through the first week of July, the Greenville Noon Rotary Club will bring a
breathtaking Field of Honor® flag display to the Coastal Plain and Tidewater hub of Greenville’s metro area.
In its second year, this inspirational event had an amazing impact during its first year and promises to grow in to a cherished local tradition, which draws organizers, volunteers and visitors together to honor our heroes with the display of a United States Flag posted in a sea of flags creating a memorable panorama of red, white & blue. The greatness of America is created by the numberless acts of those who become our personal heroes, and it is fitting to honor them with the display of a U.S. flag.
Ceremonies and programs will celebrate Flag Day on June 14th and Independence Day on the Fourth of July. Details will be shared as they are available.
Flags are made in the USA and are 3’ x 5’ on a 7.5’ flagstaffs. Each Flag will have a commemorative tag with the individual’s name who the flag is dedicated to. Each flag location will be mapped making it easy to find your flag. All American Flags will be illuminated during all hours of darkness thanks to Greenville Utilities.
The Greenville Field of Honor® display is a gift to the greater Greenville community made possible by efforts of dedicated volunteers. Please support this worthwhile event by sponsoring flags in tribute to your heroes, by volunteering to help and through contributions.
The Field of Honor® display may be visited without charge; bring families and friends. This is an experience hard to describe but not to be forgotten. Don’t miss it.
