Event Details

From mid-May to mid-July, Northampton’s Elks Lodge is posting Meadow City’s first Field of Honor® display of 150 United States flags flying atop 7½ foot tall white flag staffs. The flags honor all those who by their dedicated service have become our heroes. This historic region along the Connecticut River has witnessed the growth of the United States from thirteen British American Colonies to a modern nation. Each flag represents an individual and tells a story. Flags may be sponsored to honor individuals serving in our military, veterans who have served, first responders who protect the community and all who have become our heroes.

The Northampton Field of Honor ® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.

This is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Northampton Field of Honor® display and walk with us among the posted flags. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
