September 10-15, 2015 |
Rounding out a dozen years, the Tempe Exchange Club will host their 12th Annual Healing Field flag display for the residents of the greater Phoenix area. Posted at Mill Avenue and Salado Parkway, this stirring formation of 3,000 U.S. flags will once again honor the victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks. The magnitude of the loss is presented by an uplifting and healing panorama of flags flying against the blue of Arizona skies that the mature may remember and the youth may learn.Visitors are invited to walk through the ordered rows of flags posted in solemn tribute at Tempe Beach Park from the 10th to the 15th of September. Visiting the field is an experience never to be forgotten, and each year the event offers many opportunities for sponsors, volunteers and visitors to experience an indescribable tribute. |
Online flag sponsorships have been discontinued for this year.
