September 9 – 11, 2016
1437 Blossom Road, Rochester, New York
Hosted for the second year by the Rochester Sisters of Mercy, a formation of United States Flags will fly again in a patriotic tribute to our military, veterans, police officers, fire fighters and medical first responders. Flags may be sponsored to honor our heroes, and the so displayed flags will be retained by each flag’s sponsor at the close of the event. Proceeds will benefit the Mercy Bridges a ministry which provides tutors who teach basic literacy skills to adults for whom English is a Second Language.
The U.S. flags will be posted from September 9th through the 11th forming in a stirring formation of red, white and blue. The Rochester Field of Honor® flag display is the perfect opportunity to unite as a community and remember those who defend and protect us. It is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to walk with us among the posted flags. The display is open to all visitors without charge. Don’t miss it.
Online flag sales have been discontinued. Thank you for your support!
