Now an anticipated tradition stretching over 12 years, Prescott Valley’s Healing Field® display draws area residents of Northern Arizona together in a memorable and inspiring tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11th of 2001.
Each year since the first anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11th of 2001, massive displays of United States flags have flown on the Sandy City Promenade to honor the victims that lost their lives that day, and local military and first responders who have perished since.
Since 2008, beginning on September 11th through November 11th of 2025, Fayetteville’s Cool Spring Downtown District will join with the Airborne and Special Forces Museum Foundation to make possible a inspiring display of 560 U.S. flags flying on the museum’s parade grounds.
