Mooresville, NC Field of Honor® 2016 ~ Field of Flags

This Memorial Day the Mooresville/Lake Norman Exchange Club will again host a Field of Honor® display of U.S. flags on the grassy fields at Lowe’s YMCA in Mooresville. This inspirational posting of the Stars and Stripes will feature hundreds of flags standing in a solemn formation as a tribute to our past and present American Heroes. Individual flags will honor our active duty military, veterans, those who have sacrificed their lives to defend our freedoms as well as other community heroes. Flags may be sponsored for $35, and the sponsors will retain the flags at the close of the event to be displayed in Mooresville and surrounding communities as continuing mementos of service.

The funds raised through the Field of Honor® flag display will benefit programs of the Mooresville/Lake Norman Exchange Club.

The panorama of red, white and blue is hard to adequately describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten. There will be no charge to visit the Field of Honor® display, and all are invited to walk with us through the ordered rows of flags. This is an event not to be missed.
