November 9th to 13th
5145 Highway 40, Mariposa, CA 95325
Located in the rugged foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Mariposa Museum & History Center will again provide an ideal setting for this beautiful panorama of red, white and blue that will bring the community and area residents with an inspirational formation of United States flags that will create a lasting memory.
Each flag represents an individual and tells a story. Flags may be sponsored to honor those who have sacrificed and given service. The event is the perfect opportunity for all of us to remember and honor those who have become our heroes. It is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Mariposa Healing Field® display and walk with us among the posted flags. Those who are first time visitors will find that the display must be experienced to be fully appreciated. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
Support the Mariposa Healing Field® by sponsoring a flag for $35 to honor individuals who through their service and sacrifice have become heroes in our lives. At the conclusion of the event flag sponsors will be picked up by their sponsored flags to retain and display as a memento of this year’s Healing Field® display. Flags may also be mailed to sponsors for an additional $6 shipping fee. Proceeds will benefit the Mariposa County Museum.
Flags displayed at last year’s Mariposa Healing Field® may be posted at this year’s display for a $15 contribution at the field.
