Palm Northwest Mortuary and Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131
August 27 – September 15, 2016
For the fourth time the Palm Northwest Mortuary and Cemetery will host a spectacular Healing Field® display as they post 2,996 U.S. flags symbolizing the thousands of victims of the terrorist attacks of 9/11. On the 15th anniversary of the 2001 attacks, the magnitude of loss is revealed by this solemn formation of flags. Terrorists mistakenly believed that their heinous act would divide us when it actually brought us together. Posted in the weeks surrounding Patriot Day, the Stars and Stripes will fly in tribute to the victims of 9/11. The scene of red, white and blue flags flying against the blue Nevada sky presents an inspiring and memorable panorama that will be especially stunning in the magnificent setting of the Palm Northwest Cemetery.
Visitors to this memorable display will come together that the mature may remember and that the youth, too young to remember, may learn. Proceeds from flag sales & sponsorships will benefit the Firefighters of Southern Nevada and the Burn Foundation. Flags may be purchased or sponsored at the event. There will be no charge to visit the Las Vegas Healing Field®, and this is an event that must be seen to be fully appreciated, and is an experience definitely not to be missed.
ONLINE FLAG SALES HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
