Hayward, WI ~ Field of Honor® 2014
August 16- September 11, 2014 – Northwest Corner of Highways B & K, Hayward, Wisconsin
| During the days leading up to September 11th, the Boys & Girls Club of Lac Courte Oreilles will again host the 3rd Annual Field of Honor® flag display. With the theme “Honoring Champions for Change,” the display pays tribute to those individuals who make a difference in our lives.Hundreds of U.S. flags will stand in a solemn formation to commemorate champions who demonstrate that they care through the impact they have for good. We invite residents of Hayward and the surrounding area to sponsor flags which will then be dedicated to personal champions. The youth participating in the programs at the Boys & Girls Club of Lac Courte Oreilles understand well the importance of mentors as children grow into adults. This display of flags offers a unique opportunity to express our appreciation.
Join with us as we walk through ordered rows of flags that will be posted in the field located on the Northwest corner of Highways B & K. It promised to be a never to be forgotten experience. |
