Continuing a proud nine year military tradition in Fayetteville, the North Carolina Field of Honor® will rise on the parade grounds surrounding the Airborne and Special Operations Museum. Hosted, as in the past, by the Fayetteville Downtown Alliance, this stirring formation of United States Flags will again unite the community in a patriotic tribute to our military. Each flag represents an individual and tells a story. Flags may be sponsored to honor members of our active duty military or veterans. Sponsored flags are identified with a tag identifying the sponsor and honoree.
The posted flags form an inspiring formation of red, white and blue. The event is the perfect opportunity for all of us to unite as a community as we remember and honor our military heroes. It is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit Fayetteville’s North Carolina Field of Honor® display and walk with us among the posted flags. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it.
To sponsor a flag, please visit the Fayetteville Field of Honor® website at the link: http://www.ncfieldofhonor.com/about-ncfoh for more information. Proceeds benefit the Airborne and Special Operations Museum Foundation.
