May 11, 2013 — Honoring All Veterans
The Fayetteville Downtown Alliance again joins with the Airborne & Special Operations Museum as they host their 6th Annual Field of Honor®event. This traditional display remembers and honors all of our military, but especially recognizes those who have died on the field of battle. Beginning on May 11th, hundreds of United States flags will stand formation on the parade grounds of the Airborne & Special Operations Museum in a patriotic tribute to our military. Each flag will display a tag identifying the flag’s sponsor and honoree. Proceeds from the Field of Honor® flag sponsorships benefit the Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation.
Please join with us as we walk amid this inspiring display of the Stars and Stripes posted in formation to honor and remember the defenders of our nation. Their service at home and around the world guarantees the freedoms we enjoy. ALL GAVE SOME. SOME GAVE ALL.
