This Independence Week, the Waycross Exchange Club proudly presents the America 250 Field of Honor®, a heartfelt tribute celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States and honoring the courageous men and women who have served our nation with valor and sacrifice. From June 27th through July 11th, 250 United States flags will stand in solemn formation at the Exchange Club’s location on Knight Avenue, next to the fairgrounds.
Each 7.5-foot white flagpole will bear the name and story of a veteran, active-duty service member, or fallen hero, commemorating those who sacrificed to uphld our freedoms. This breathtaking display offers a sanctuary for reflection, gratitude, and unity for the citizens of Ware County and beyond.

A Dedication Ceremony on Saturday, July 4th, at 10:00 a.m., featuring stirring patriotic music, inspiring guest speakers, and recognition of local honorees.
Event sponsorships and flag dedications are available for individuals, families, and businesses to honor their loved ones.
Volunteer opportunities for set-up, hosting, and community engagement.
This event is free and open to the public, made possible through generous donations, sponsorships, and the unwavering commitment of Exchange Club members and community volunteers.
