Coldwater, MI ~ Healing Field® 2026

June 25August 1

220 N. Michigan Avenue ,

A breathtaking field of United States flags will stand in solemn formation June 25th through August 1st, creating a powerful and moving tribute visible from across the community at the Naomi Davis Shelterhouse located at 220 N. Michigan. This inspiring display will bring people together to honor our heroes while celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary — the Semiquincentennial of our nation’s founding in 1776.

Each U.S. flag represents an individual and tells a personal story. Flags may be sponsored to honor those currently serving in our military, veterans, first responders, advocates for child abuse prevention, heroes in our lives, victims of human trafficking, and hometown heroes who make a difference every day. This meaningful event offers all of us the opportunity to pause, reflect, and recognize the courage, sacrifice, and service that strengthen our communities and our nation.

As we commemorate 250 years of freedom, resilience, and unity, the Stars and Stripes remind us of who we are as Americans. Throughout our history, our nation has faced challenges and hardships, yet time and again Americans have come together with determination, compassion, and hope. The United States flag stands as a symbol of that enduring spirit — representing our shared commitment to liberty, community, and a brighter future.

This moving display is a gift to the community made possible through generous donations, sponsorships, and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your gratitude and support by sponsoring a flag in honor of someone special or by making a contribution to help sustain this meaningful tribute.

This is an experience that is difficult to describe but impossible to forget. We invite everyone to visit the Coldwater Healing Field® patriotic display and walk among the sea of posted flags, reflecting on the sacrifices, stories, and ideals that have shaped our nation for 250 years.

Proceeds from the display will support the programs and service projects of the Coldwater Early Bird Exchange Club, helping strengthen our community and continue honoring those who serve.

The display is open to the public and free to attend.  Don’t miss this unforgettable tribute to our heroes and our nation!

Thank You
