During the week surrounding Veteran’s Day, U.S. flags will stand posted as the Safford Lions Club hosts the city’s 4th Field of Honor® display. The stunning panorama of the Stars & Stripes honors veterans on their holiday. Each flag represents a person who has earned our honor and appreciation. The display of red, white and blue reminds all that freedom has a cost for those who wear the uniform of our nation. Flags may be sponsored to honor individuals.
The Safford Field of Honor® display is a gift to the Graham County community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers.
This is an experience hard to describe but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Safford Field of Honor® display and walk with us among the posted flags. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
