Creating an awe-inspiring panorama, United States flags will fly in a solemn formation at Centennial Commons during May & June of 2022. This stirring display of flags will bring the community together in a patriotic tribute to honor the 188 heroes whose names appear on the Royal Oak War Memorial.

This moving display is made possible through a generous donation from Henry Ford Health System and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.

The Royal Oak Veterans Events Committees is looking for 188 sponsors to honor each name on the War Memorial — those who made the ultimate sacrifice — as well to remember men and women currently serving in the United States military and veterans.

Proceeds from the Royal Oak Field will be used toward the beautification and maintenance of the Royal Oak War Memorial and events and programs that serve veterans.

For your $30 sponsorship, you will receive a commemorative gift and your personalized dedication will be attached to one of the flags.

This is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Royal Oak’s Field of Honor® patriotic display and walk with us among the posted flags.
