A bright formation of United States flags will fly this summer over the lawns of the Northampton Lodge of Elks #997 as they host their 2nd Annual Field of Honor® display. Americans break out Old Glory during time of war, and during the war fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, the unity and hope symbolized by the U.S. flag is needed more than ever.
Flying atop 7½ foot white flagstaffs, the flags honor all those who by their dedicated service have become our heroes. Each flag represents an individual and tells a story. Flags may be sponsored to honor individuals serving in our military, veterans who have served, first responders who protect the community and all who have become our heroes. Especially this year we recognize medical professionals and the numberless Americans who have made possible the pandemic restrictions required to slow and halt the spread of infection.
The Northampton Field of Honor ® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
The vista of red, white & blue is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. Please visit the Northampton Field of Honor® display and walk with us among the posted flags. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
