National Child Abuse Prevention Month
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Each year, approximately 3 million children are reported as abused in the U.S. – sadly, that number is growing.
Colonial Flag Foundation has joined forces with its partner, The National Exchange Club, to promote awareness help end child abuse.

Exchange’s National Project
The Prevention of Child Abuse is Exchange’s National Project. We continue to raise awareness for the magnitude of this tragedy while raising funds to develop and support programs to break the cycle of abuse. Stress, lack of resources, and limited services for families are significant risk factors for child abuse and neglect, and challenges with these issues remain very high. Support for the prevention of child abuse and the National Exchange Club’s Parent Aide Model is even more essential than in the past.

Virtual Healing Field® Flag Display
April 1-30, 2022 Colonial Flag Foundation and The National Exchange Club will launch a national effort against child abuse. The 4th Annual Virtual Healing Field® Flag Display allows individuals across the country to stand together in a united effort against child abuse.

For your $10.00 donation, individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations can post a flag on a Virtual Map dedicated to ending child abuse. Sponsored flags will be flown on our Virtual Map to raise funds, while at the same time inspiring others and showing support in ending child abuse. Flags may be posted “in memory of” someone and may include a short bio or message.
