The City of Myrtle Beach is excited to announce the Field of Honor® is coming to Warbird Park in November. Hundreds of patriotic flags will fly at Warbird Park from November 8-12, 2025, as part of the first Field of Honor® in Myrtle Beach.
The Field of Honor® is a tribute to the values that define American service: duty, courage, resilience, self-sacrifice, loyalty and community. Each flag represents acts of heroism that helped secure our freedoms and strengthen our country and community. The 250-flag display celebrates 250 years of independence. It will feature today’s American flag and variations of the American flag throughout our 250 year history, including the “Betsy Ross flag” and 20-star flag. Each flag will be accompanied by a flag tag containing historic facts of what took place in the country that year. This display will honor and remember those who have served in the military, as first responders or in other roles of service and sacrifice.
The City of Myrtle Beach is happy to provide this special opportunity in partnership with the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base Redevelopment Authority and Military Appreciation Committee. Warbird Park is a free public park dedicated to the history of service. It features memorials, aircraft, a Wall of Service, walking paths and picnic areas. The Field of Honor® will offer families and visitors a meaningful and peaceful place to learn more about America’s history, reflect and remember.
The display is open to the public from November 8-12. Please make sure you mark your calendar to experience this tribute to America’s heroes in Myrtle Beach.
