Event Details

The lawns adjacent to Lowe’s YMCA will again provide the location for Mooresville’s Field of Flags as the Mooresville—Lake Norman Exchange Club hosts the city’s Field of Honor® event.  Hundreds of United States Flags will stand posted in solemn tribute to veterans, active military and to the fallen men and women who have perished on fields of battle.

Flags may be sponsored to honor individuals and the sponsors will retain the flags at the close of the event to be displayed in Mooresville and surrounding communities as continuing mementos of service. This is a gift to area communities made possible through the support of businesses and area residents. You can show your appreciation and support by sponsoring flags or making donations.

The funds raised through the Field of Honor® flag display will benefit programs of the Mooresville—Lake Norman Exchange Club.

The vista of red, white and blue is hard to adequately describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten. There will be no charge to visit the Field of Honor® display, and all are invited to walk with us through the ordered rows of flags. This is an event not to be missed.
