Over Memorial Day weekend, 132 U.S. flags will stand posted as the Noon Exchange Club hosts McMinnville’s inaugural Healing Field® display.  The solemn formation of the Stars & Stripes honors the 132 area men and women who sacrificed their lives on the field of battle.  Each flag represents a person and tells the story of a loved family member, a cherished friend or a missed acquaintance who merits appreciation, honor and remembrance.  The panorama of red, white and blue reminds all that freedom has a cost that is paid by those who wear the uniform of our nation.  Flags may be sponsored to honor individuals.

Recently retired McMinnville native LTC Jon Flanders will be the keynote speaker at the event’s opening ceremony on Saturday, May 25^th at 9:00 a.m.

The McMinnville® display is a gift to the Warren County community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.

This is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the McMinnville Field of Honor® display and walk with us among the posted flags. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
