A 4-H Citizen Project, Mariposa’s 4th Annual Healing Field® display of the Stars and Stripes will present a beautiful panorama of red, white and blue in the rugged foothills of the Sierra Nevada. This impressive formation of United States Flags will create a lasting memory.

Each flag represents an individual and tells a story. Flags may be sponsored to honor those who have sacrificed and given service. The event is the perfect opportunity for all of us to remember and honor those who have become our heroes. It is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Mariposa Healing Field® display and walk with us among the posted flags. Those who are first time visitors will find that the display must be experienced to be fully appreciated.

The Mariposa Healing Field® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.

Support the Mariposa Healing Field® by sponsoring a flag for $35 to honor individuals who through their service and sacrifice have become heroes in our lives. At the conclusion of the event flag sponsors will be picked up by their sponsored flags to retain and display as a memento of this year’s Healing Field® display. Flags may also be mailed to sponsors for an additional $6 shipping fee. Proceeds will benefit the Mariposa County Museum and the American Legion Post 567. Flags displayed at last year’s Mariposa Healing Field® may be posted at this year’s display for a $15 contribution at the field.
