Madison Green – 26 Meeting House Lane, Madison, CT 06443

For the 20th Anniversary of 9/11, Madison Exchange club will be creating an awe-inspiring panorama of United States flags that will fly in a solemn formation at Madison Green. This stirring display of 100 flags will bring the community together in a memorable and inspiring tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11th of 2001.  As the years pass, it becomes more and more important to remember those killed in what was then an unfathomable act of savagery and depredation.  Innocent victims deserve to be remembered, and as the mature are reminded, we have the task of teaching our youth.

The Stars & Stripes reminds us of who we are as a people. Americans meet the challenges of history and overcome hardships becoming stronger. That is just who we are. The United States flag represents our solidarity in creating a brighter tomorrow and uniting us all.

“The Twentieth Anniversary of 9/11” is the perfect theme for the inaugural Healing Field® display hosted by the members of the Madison Exchange Club.  This moving display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.

This is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Madison, CT Healing Field® patriotic display and walk with us among the posted flags.  Additionally, the display will raise funds for the charitable programs of the Madison Exchange Club.

The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!

The Healing Field® began as a tribute to men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice to our country since September 11, 2001. The Madison Exchange Club will host the commemorative event during the 20th Anniversary of 9/11, on the Madison Green. This event will be a display of over 200 3′ x 5′ flags purchased by members of the community. The sponsored flags will be on 8 foot poles and distanced in rows, allowing people to walk amongst them and view the names and dedications of those represented by each flag. The Healing Field® is a reverent tribute which strives to unite the country in the service of others. The emotionally moving display will include opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the Commemorative Ceremony on 9/11.
