The Laurel Exchange Clubs proudly announces they are hosting Yellowstone Valley’s first Healing Field® display of U.S.at the field north of Laurel Middle School. This inspirational posting of the Stars and Stripes will feature 1,000 flags standing in a solemn formation to remember those killed in the terrorist attacks of 2001 and to honor Heroes in Our Lives.
There is a story of service and sacrifice surrounding each posted flag to remind the mature and to teach the youth that our freedoms have been purchase by the toil and blood of others, as many paid the cost with their very lives. Family, friends and each of us share in the loss of men and women whose lives have been cut short on 9/11 and thereafter on battlefields of an increasingly dangerous world.
The panorama of red, white and blue is hard to adequately describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten. There will be no charge to visit the Healing Field® display, and all are invited to walk with us through the ordered rows of flags. This is an event not to be missed.
