Saint Ann’s Academy is hosting the 8th Annual Hornell Field of Honor® flag display during the days surrounding Veterans Day. Posted in honor our veterans and military hundreds of flags will brings volunteers and visitors together in an inspiring display that has become an anticipated annual event in Maple City.
The Hornell Field of Honor® will be posted on Steuben Square from Wednesday, November 9th through Monday, November 13th. Please join us as we walk through this inspiring formation of U.S. flags that will create a lasting memory as we pay tribute to America’s veterans. This is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Hornell Field of Honor® display and walk with us among the posted flags.
The Hornell Field of Honor® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!

HORNELL — The snowflakes sifting onto Veterans Day ceremonies in Hornell served two purposes on Sunday: they were 3-D replicas of the stars in the Star Spangled Banner, and they reminded everyone present that American service members have endured much harsher, much more extreme weather protecting our nation.
