A massive display of the Stars and Stripes fits in El Paso for many reasons. Just as the United States flag symbolizes a nation that evolved from diverse cultures growing together to create a people united and strengthened by their common history, values and aspiration, El Paso reflects the American experience.
1,000 United States flags flying atop 7½ foot white flagstaffs on the grassy field will create the magnificent panorama of El Paso’s inaugural Healing Field® display. The flags honor those who by their lives have honored the flag.
Military, Veterans, the Fallen, Firefighters, Police and Emergency Medical Service providers have earned our thanks by their selfless service & sacrifice, and United States flags flown in their honor offers a fitting tribute. There is no better time for this tribute that during the days surrounding the Fourth of July.
This inspiring and memorable display will draw El Paso residents together. The vista of red, white and blue is hard to describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten.
The El Paso Healing Field® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation. We invite all to join with us as we remember and honor our nation’s heroes.
The Healing Field® may be visited from October 10th through the 12th. This is an event not to be missed.
