Event Details

Cohasset’s Field of Honor® flag display on the traffic islands by the Sons of the American Legion building, which is now in its 13th year, is a main feature of the town’s annual Memorial Day observance. While superstition considers thirteen and unlucky number, it was lucky for the 13 colonies symbolized on the first States & Stripes, and the annual Field of Honor displays of Old Glory have created a favored town experience. For the Sons of the American Legion Post 118 which hosts the event yearly, the Cohasset Field of Honor® brings renewed appreciation for area residents that focuses on the service and sacrifice of the men and women who have earned and maintained the freedoms we enjoy.
The Cohasset Field of Honor® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
