Salt Lake City, UT ~ 10th Annual Brandon’s Ride

May 7, 2016
Honda-Suzuki of Salt Lake at 2354 South on State Street

Honda-Suzuki of Salt Lake will be the gathering site for the 10th Annual Brandon’s Ride which commemorates the tenth anniversary of Brandon’s death. Sergeant Brandon J. Thomas, a member of the 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) of the Utah National Guard, was killed while assigned on a protective detail mission in Baghdad serving his country as a Department of Defense contractor. He sacrificed his life, as have so many of America’s youth, in the global fight against terrorists who seek to destroy freedom here and around the world. Brandon’s Ride was created not only to honor one of our nation’s fallen heroes, but to assist the families of Utah’s severely wounded or killed military personnel and to support Utah veterans’ causes.

Recognizing the value and impact of Brandon’s Ride, Colonial Flag Foundation proudly supports this yearly event. Brandon’s death was not only a personal sacrifice, but a monumental loss for his family and friends. Brandon’s Ride adds benefit to his offering through assisting others, and it makes certain that he will be remembered.

The ride ticket donation is $15 for each rider and $10 for each passenger. Not only will each participant enjoy the camaraderie of a great ride, but a continental breakfast at the start and a prize drawing, and a 50 /50 draw.  Lunch may be purchased at The Break.  Combine all this with the support given service members and family who have sacrificed so much, and this becomes a not to be missed opportunity.
