In the days leading up to Memorial Day, the Exchange Club of Benton Harbor St. Joseph will host a Field of Honor® display of U.S. flags at the Harbor Shores Golf Course. This inspirational posting of the Stars and Stripes will feature hundreds of flags standing in a solemn formation as a tribute to our past and present American Heroes. Individual flags will honor our active duty military as well as those who have sacrificed their lives to defend our freedoms.
The funds raised through the Field of Honor® flag display will benefit the Lest We Forget programs, which are also scheduled during the Field of Honor® event.
The panorama of red, white and blue is hard to adequately describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten. There will be no charge to visit the Benton Harbor Field of Honor® display, and all are invited to walk with us through the ordered rows of flags. This is an event not to be missed.
