The Westerville Community Center always provides facilities for classes, meetings and activities benefiting area residents. However, each May the Westerville Sunrise Rotary Club adds an inspiring activity that unites the community by paying tribute to heroes who so often may be taken for granted.

During the days leading up to Memorial Day, the grounds of the Westerville Sports Complex, which normally serve as the site for sports, are transformed into the Westerville Field of Honor® Flag Display featuring 3,500 United States flags flying over its rolling green lawns.
