For the week leading up to Memorial Day, the Arcadia Rotary will transform Arcadia County Park into an awe-inspiring display of 1,000 U.S. flags, which will again serve as a reminder of the deeper meaning of the observance.

Pelona Vista Park provides an outstanding setting for an equally spectacular panorama created as 1001 American flags fly for Memorial Day in ordered rows atop 7½ foot white flagstaffs.

For the 13th straight year, the Merced Sunrise Rotary Club hosts their Veteran's Day Field of Honor® flag display.  As in each previous year, the flags will honor military and veterans with focus on those who served in Vietnam.

The Field of Honor® is a week-long, awe inspiring, emotion filled patriotic event held at Murrieta Town Square Park featuring over 2,025 full-sized flags that Honor our Heroes.
