Winchester, VA ~ Healing Field® 2026

May 21May 25

426 Handley Blvd. & Route 11 ,

United States flags will fly in a solemn, breathtaking formation May 21–25, 2026, creating an awe-inspiring panorama in celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary and in remembrance of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. This stirring display of over 800 flags will unite the community in a deeply patriotic tribute to honor the courage, sacrifice, and resilience that define our nation.

Each U.S. flag represents an individual and tells a story. Flags may be sponsored to honor those currently serving in our military, veterans, first responders, victims and heroes of 9/11, advocates for child abuse prevention, and the everyday heroes in our lives and hometowns. Together, these flags stand as a powerful visual reminder that freedom is never free.

The Stars & Stripes remind us of who we are as a people. As Americans, we rise stronger when faced with challenges, bound together by shared sacrifice and hope. Our flag is a symbol of unity, resilience, and the enduring promise of a brighter tomorrow.

“Heroes Proved” is the fitting theme for the 6th Annual Healing Field® of Honor display hosted by the Rotary Club of Winchester. As our nation marks 250 years of independence and reflects on 25 years since 9/11, we honor those who have proven their courage through service, sacrifice, and unwavering love of country.

This moving display is a gift to the community, made possible through generous donations, sponsorships, and the dedication of countless volunteers. You can show your gratitude and support by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.

This is an experience difficult to describe, yet impossible to forget. We invite all to visit the Winchester, VA Healing Field® to walk among the sea of flags—each one a story, a sacrifice, a hero.

The display is open to all at no charge. Proceeds will support veterans and first responder programs of the Winchester Rotary Club.

Don’t miss this powerful and patriotic tribute.
