This Veterans Day season, the Salem Field of Honor® will once again transform American Legion Field into a powerful tribute to service, sacrifice, and patriotism. From October 31 through November 13, hundreds of United States flags will stand proudly in formation, creating a breathtaking display that honors veterans, active-duty military personnel, first responders, and other personal heroes whose dedication has strengthened our nation and communities.

Each flag in the Salem Field of Honor® represents an individual story. Some honor military service across generations. Others recognize first responders who answer the call in times of crisis. Every dedication reflects a life of service, sacrifice, leadership, or inspiration.

More than a display of flags, the Salem Field of Honor® is a place for remembrance, gratitude, and community connection. Visitors are encouraged to walk among the flags, read the dedications, and reflect on the men and women whose service has helped shape our nation’s past, present, and future.

This inspiring tribute is made possible through the generosity of sponsors, donors, and volunteers led by the Salem Rotary Club. Community members can participate by sponsoring a flag, dedicating a flag in honor of a hero, or making a donation to support the display.
