From November 7 through December 12, 2026, three hundred United States flags will fly in a majestic formation, creating a powerful tribute to the men and women who have served our nation in uniform, as well as the First Responders who protect and serve our communities. Hosted by the Kiwanis Clubs of Pawleys Island and Georgetown, this inspiring display honors the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of America’s heroes—past and present.
Each flag tells a story of service, honor, and devotion to country. Flags may be sponsored in honor or memory of Veterans, active-duty military personnel, First Responders, and other American heroes whose dedication has helped preserve the freedoms we cherish.
This year’s display carries special significance as our nation celebrates the 250th Anniversary of American independence and reflects on the enduring lessons of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. Together, these milestones remind us of the patriotism, resilience, unity, and selfless service that have shaped our nation’s past and continue to guide its future.
The Field of Honor® offers a place for remembrance, reflection, and gratitude. It provides an opportunity for families, Veterans, students, and visitors of all ages to honor those who have served while inspiring future generations to appreciate the sacrifices made on behalf of our nation and its freedoms.
Made possible through the generosity of sponsors, donors, and volunteers, proceeds from flag sponsorships and donations support scholarships awarded through the Kiwanis Clubs of Pawleys Island and Georgetown for Georgetown County students pursuing higher education.
The display is free and open to the public. We invite everyone to visit, reflect, and join us in honoring our Veterans, military members, First Responders, and all who have answered the call to serve.
