Dennis Field of Honor®
For thirteen years, the Dennis Field of Honor® has given our community a place to pause, remember, and honor those whose lives reflect service and sacrifice. In 2026, that tradition carries special meaning.
Our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, and we reflect on generations of military service that have helped shape the freedoms we share today.
Throughout American history, the flag has stood as a symbol of hope, possibility, and the American way of life. Behind those freedoms are generations who answered the call, served, sacrificed, and believed in something greater than themselves. The Field of Honor® gives us an opportunity to remember their stories—and to pass those lessons to the generations who follow.
Four hundred U.S. flags will fill the field, available for dedication in honor of Veterans, First Responders, Hometown Heroes, and others who have made a difference. Community members are invited to dedicate a flag, become an event sponsor, or make a donation to support programs benefiting Veterans.
The Field of Honor® is free and open to all. Walk among the flags, read the names, reflect on their stories, and experience a powerful reminder of what we have inherited—and what we must never take for granted.
At the conclusion of the event, dedicated flags will be returned to their sponsors as a lasting memento.
In a year of historic milestones, come remember the people behind the flag and the freedoms it represents.
