Murfreesboro, TN – Healing Field® 2013
| May 25-27, 2013—Medical Center Parkway next to Belk at the Avenue |
![]() |
| In May volunteers will gather to post eight hundred United States flags for Murfreesboro’s 5th Annual Healing Field® Flags of Remembrance display which will again be hosted by the Murfreesboro Noon Exchange Club. This sea of red, white and blue U.S. flags waving in the breeze has become an annual Memorial Day weekend tribute dedicated to our veterans, military and personal heroes. Meaningful for volunteers and visitors alike, this display will be located at Medical Center Parkway next to Belk at the Avenue. |
Please join us as we walk amid the ordered rows of Old Glory where each full-sized flag waves atop an eight foot white staff in a stirring formation. Standing amid the flags, we remember and reflect in a salute of the living to those who died defending our nation and way of life.
Flags may be purchased at any MidSouth Bank or by calling the information line–615- 641-0121
|
| Sponsored flags will be available for pick-up at the conclusion of the event on May 27th at 7:00 P.M. |

What a great way to honor Memorial Day! I have many family members who have proudly served our country and most recently, our son, Colton, has joined the USMC family. I love our country and our Services. God Bless them all.

This is a wonderful event. Please take the time to go and see this. It gives me goosebumps each year I see it. Thank you to all servicemen & women who gave their all for our country and those who serve today. We owe you our freedom.

Boy Scout Troop 538 will be performing a flag retirement ceremony at the Healing Fields event on Saturday evening at 7:30 pm. Everyone is invited especially our Military Veterans so that we may further honor their service to our country.

Thank you so much for remembering those who have sacrificed so much for our country, and for working so hard to honor them, and allowing others to honor them too! Your service is greatly appreciated!
