Event Details
One thousand United States flags will fly on the grassy field adjacent to the Faith Lutheran Church in Seguin in a magnificent display in an inspirational Field of Honor® flag formation. Military, Veterans, the Fallen, Firefighters, Police and Emergency Medical Service providers have earned our Thankfulness by their selfless service and sacrifice, and United States flags flown in their honor offers a fitting tribute. There is no better time for this tribute that during the days surrounding the Fourth of July.
This inspiring and memorable display will draw Guadalupe County residents together. The panorama of red, white and blue is hard to describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten.
The Seguin Field of Honor® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
We invite all to join with us as we remember and honor our nation’s heroes. The Field of Honor® can be visited from June 29th to July 6th. This is an event not to be missed.
Schedule of Events:
- Saturday, June 29th 10:00 am – Opening Ceremony
- Sunday, June 30th 6:30 pm – Blessing of the flags
- Monday, June 1st – Prayer for the Nation
- Thursday, July 4th – 6:00 pm – FREE Hotdogs
- Saturday, July 6th – 10:00 am – Closing Ceremony
