Event Details

The Norwich Free Academy Supporting Our Servicemen & Women Club (SOS Club) is excited to host the Norwich Field of Honor® display of U.S. flags from November 5th to 11th, 2017.  The Stars and Stripes will appear in an awe-inspiring panorama of red, white and blue on the grassy lawns of the Academy’s stately campus.  Full size flags will fly on seven and a half foot flagstaffs to honor our veterans and serving military.

Support the Norwich Field of Honor® by sponsoring a flag for $25 to honor individuals who, through their service and sacrifice, have become heroes in our lives.  Flag sponsors will receive their sponsored flags to retain and display as a memento of this year’s event.

All are invited to visit this Field of Honor® display and walk among the posted flags. Those who have visited Field of Honor® displays in other communities know to expect an inspiring and memorable formation of flags .  Those who are first time visitors to a Field of Honor® event will find that the display must be experienced to be fully appreciated.  There is no charge to visit the Field of Honor® display.  Please come and bring your family & friends.
