Event Details

The Knights of Columbus with host their 4th Annual Field of Honor® flag display on the field adjacent to Ijamsville’s St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church for Memorial Day. More than 600 United States flags will present a vista of red, white & blue in honor of the military and veterans who have and do defend our freedoms at home and on fields of battle. Flag also honor first responders who service and protect our community. Flags may be sponsored for $40, and the sponsors will retain the flags at the close of the event to be displayed in Ijamsville and surrounding communities as continuing mementos of service.

The impact of this event is hard to adequately describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten. The Ijamsville Field of Honor® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.

There is no charge to visit the Ijamsville of Honor® display, and all are invited to walk with us through the ordered rows of flags. This is an event not to be missed.
